Introduction

This is user profile cover slider, in which users can upload multiple photos and create their cover slider and showcase photos with more visibility on top of profile. it will be visible to all other users followers or non followers, Cover slider creative idea in social network which firstly used by facebook and now will be used by wowonder buyers.

Installation

 

Easy Installation Just Follow Below Steps.

 

Note * :- Before installing code please make backup of your website and database then follow below steps.

Backup is important in case if you do any mistake then easily you can reverse your step back.

* I am performing this task on linux shared hosting

 

You will get following files in dowloaded zip file , as showing in below image.

function_one.php ( upload this file inside " assets/includes " folder )

avatar-setting.phtml ( upload this file inside " themes/wondertag/layout/setting " folder )

content.phtml ( upload this file inside " themes/wondertag/layout/timeline " folder )

update_images_setting.php ( upload this file inside " xhr " folder )

 

See below steps and follow.

 

Step 1 -  Upload " function_one.php " file

Open " assets " folder

 

Now you will see some folders, here open " includes " folder, see below image

Now upload " function_one.php " file and create a backup of old file as showing ine below image , where in green marked is old file which i renamed and added" bak " text to make it as backup file and after then in red marked i uploaded my customized new " function_one.php " file.

 

Now you need to follow same steps for all other files

 

Step 2 -  Upload " avatar-setting.phtml " file

Step 3 -  Upload " content.phtml " file

Upload " content.phtml " See below steps in image

 

Step 4 -  Upload " update_images_setting.php " file

Upload " update_images_setting.php " See below steps in image

 

 

Step 5 - this is last step of setup , you need to make small change in database, see below screenshot with steps.

 

Step 1 :  Click or expand on your database ( as showing in below image )

Step 2 : Click or expand on " Wo-Users " ( as showing in below image )

Step 3 : Click on " Structure " menu ( as showing in below image )

Step 4: Mark tick " cover " ( as showing in below image )

Step 5: Scroll down and then click on " change " button ( as showing in below image )

Step 6: In "Lenght/Values " you need to enter only " 1001" and then click on save button( as showing in below image )

 

 

--Thats it very simple now you can close phpmyadmin

 

 

-Congratulations your Cover Slider is ready to us :)

 

You can check cover slider functioning 

 

Login in website then goto general setting then goto avatar and cover there you can upload one or more than one images in slider.
